Event Description

Almost all firms now have a sustainability strategy, the majority have a Net Zero plan and most are being asked by clients and investors what they are doing about ESG. In this session we’ll talk about how to engage your employees so they can get behind your sustainability strategy and why more and more people want to know what they can do for the planet. We’ll also talk a little bit about COP27 and how the decision in Egypt will affect everyone in the world.

This session is led by Giki co-founder and Net Zero alumni, James Hand. James is a data scientist and carbon footprint specialist who co-founded Giki with his wife Jo in 2017. Giki is a B Corp and social enterprise whose mission is to help people learn what they can do for the planet. Before setting up Giki James worked for 20 years in fund management at Ninety One where he was co-Chief Investment Officer, a global equity fund manager and established the firm’s ESG capabilities.
