This short interactive presentation will provide a legal framework for setting up a business and staying compliant as the business grows. 

The framework will also cover the contracts founders should be aware of and the risks of not investing in legal. 

This session is led by speakers from Legislate - part of our current Applied AI 4.0 cohort. 

Charles Brecque is the Founder & CEO of Legislate. Charles founded Legislate in April 2020 in Oxford to make contracts machine readable using patented knowledge graph technology. Before founding Legislate, Charles brought Machine Learning solutions to market for three years at Mind Foundry, a spin-out from the University of Oxford. Charles is a graduate of the École Centrale de Lyon. 

Amber Akhtar is a Legal Engineer at Legislate. Amber joined Legislate in September 2020 after working at Perspectum, a spin-out from the University of Oxford. Amber completed a degree in Biomedical Sciences, before going on to study the GDL and MSc LPC. Currently she is undergoing her solicitor training with the SRA.
